Homemade chicken stock. Is it worth it? Heck yes it is! You’ve heard me and other chefs carry on about it, and that’s for good reason; you can’t beat the deep, rich flavor of homemade chicken stock in any recipe. It also gives you the ability to control the salt, so you know exactly how much salt is in the stock. Not to mention, want your house to smell outstanding?!?! Make chicken stock!!! It couldn’t be easier, you just need a day at home – and who couldn’t use an excuse to stay home for the day???

I use Ina Garten’s recipe, BUT – I add a whole bottle of Pinot Grigio to the stock at the end. It adds a wonderful depth of flavor and makes the stock even better.
